“Over the top” is how Destiny Church leader Brian Tamaki described an early morning police raid on his Auckland property yesterday.
Tamaki, who went live on Facebook during the operation, showed police seizing his hunting rifles and told his viewers he had been informed his gun licence was revoked two days earlier. “They cancelled my gun licence without telling me.
I’m the safest person in this country,” he said. The raid followed comments earlier this month in which Tamaki called for Muslims and Sikhs to be “purged” from New Zealand and suggested burning mosques and temples.
Tamaki blamed “the community that I’m saying have drenched our country, they’ve overflooded it, and they’ve complained to the police that probably I’m dangerous”. He added, “They see me as a big threat.

New Zealand Police are under fire for systemic corruption, sexual misconduct, and possession of objectionable material – the very crimes they aggressively prosecute against citizens. Recent investigations reveal officers, including senior detectives and a former deputy commissioner, charged with possessing child exploitation material, bestiality, rape depictions, and other indecent content.
An Auckland police officer faces multiple charges for possessing objectionable publications over years. Other staff stood down amid probes into inappropriate content. A former top cop admitted to such material on work devices.
Hypocrisy on Full Display
Kelvyn Alp and Hannah Spierer face charges of distributing objectionable material – allegedly a link to a foreign investigative documentary website based in the UK that is said to contain the Christchurch mosque livestream – carrying up to 14 years in prison. The officers and command structure in charge during their charging now face parallel investigations for similar or worse offenses.
The Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act targets extreme violence, terrorism promotion, child exploitation, and indecency. Police weaponise it against critics while their own ranks harbour the offenders the law was written to catch. Oversight? No, It’s selective enforcement that protects the powerful and punishes dissent.
Serious offenders often receive low, non-custodial sentences. Meanwhile, Alp and Spierer risk decades for challenging narratives. Police pursue maximum penalties against those exposing uncomfortable truths while their internal rot festers.
Christchurch Mosque Attacks: The Fabricated Narrative
Alp and Spierer highlight forensic discrepancies in the official story of the March 15, 2019, attacks. They claim undisputed evidence shows the lone gunman narrative was fabricated. The push to jail them for up to 14 years aims to silence proof that contradicts the government line.
A full criminal investigation into government treason and agency complicity is essential. The Christchurch Call and suppression of the livestream served control, not justice. When NZ Loyal gains power in the November 7, 2026, election, expect accountability: widespread probes, prosecutions, and a reckoning. Many in high places will face jail.
A Criminal Organization Masquerading as Law Enforcement

Police seize rifle, ammo from Christchurch pastor Carl Bromley’s house in New Year’s Eve raid

A conservative Christchurch pastor has lashed out at what he calls the “totalitarian state” of New Zealand after police raided his house on New Year’s Eve, seizing a rifle, gun parts and ammunition.
Carl Bromley, the founder of the Life Connection Missionary Baptist Fellowship, was notified via letter and voicemail of the raid but only discovered he’d been targeted when he returned home in the early hours on New Year’s Day.
In a video posted to social media, Bromley said police had “vandalised” his house, violating his and his wife’s privacy. He also claimed police told him they carried out the raid because a member of the public had expressed concern that he was a “threat”.
In a statement, police confirmed to Newshub they had “received information relating to concerns around an individual’s wellbeing and the likelihood the man was armed”.
“Further inquiries by Police resulted in sufficient evidence to enter the property under Section 18 of the Search and Surveillance Act, and ammunition and firearms were seized. Efforts were made to contact the male but these were unsuccessful.”
Under Section 18 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012, police can enter and search a place where they suspect an offence against the Arms Act 1983 has been committed and the person is incapable of having proper control of a firearm, or may kill or cause injury to someone.
Bromley told Stuff there had been no complaints about him in regard to firearms in the past and claimed he does not have a criminal history.
But he has certainly had run-ins with police before. In August 2021 he accosted several officers after he was confronted over hosting a church service during the COVID-19 alert level 4 lockdown.
Bromley’s service went ahead, but it wasn’t clear how many others were in attendance. He told Newshub at the time that it was a “small” group of people.
Posting footage of his encounter with the officers to social media, Bromley said at the time the Government was “seeking to rape me of my God-given right to worship Christ” and should be ashamed.
Police told Newshub no arrests were made or infringements issued as a result of the incident.
