A British Armed Forces member has died in Ukraine following what the UK Ministry of Defence described as a road traffic incident on Saturday, with officials saying the death was not believed to involve hostile action.
The serviceman has not been identified at the family’s request, and details of his role and location have not been released. It is the second confirmed death of a serving British military member in Ukraine, following the death of a paratrooper during a Ukrainian drone test flight in December.
London says the limited number of UK personnel officially deployed in Ukraine provide diplomatic security, training, logistical assistance, strategic advice and intelligence support, while Moscow maintains that British specialists are directly involved in Ukrainian military operations and has warned that UK personnel and assets involved in attacks against Russia could be regarded as legitimate military targets.

Ex CIA officer Ray McGovern reckons the huge US military transporter plane was in Moscow recently to collect US bodies fighting for Ukraine.
Putin said that if any Western Military was found to be in the Ukraine, then THAT would constitute attacking the West, Britain in particular!

Oops. Yea. We do have British military service personnel working in Ukraine (NATO), forget that 22SAS have been on the ground targeting Russian forces for years, and high rank NATO Offices have been flying home in zinc caskets due to “training accidents” when they are caught up in action. Their families are NDA bribed.
From what I have seen quite a number of UK “private contractors” have been killed in Ukraine. The moral of the story, beware of imperialists hiding behind talk of democracy and freedom.
NZ Defence has a Special Service Medal – Ukraine… NZDF in a roundabout way acknowledge it is deployment to Europe but emphasize UK… but why would you earn a medal without being put in harms way.
NZSAS were operating in Afghanistan looong before NZ Government declassified their presence there.
