A call for a nationwide boycott of Countdown supermarkets has been posted to social media.
Voices for Freedom NZ posted boycott call on its Instagram and Telegram accounts.
The boycott is in reponse to Countdown implementing a jab mandate for its workers. The boycott is set to take place between 8 and 17 November 2021.
A poster advertising the boycott states: ‘Yesterday’s essential workers, now Countdown trash. Support freedom of choice for Countdown workers.’
