Citizen petition demands FDA revoke Pfizer and Moderna vaccine approvals as NZ continues to ignore DNA contamination

A landmark Citizen Petition originating in Australia and filed with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on January 21, 2025, is calling for the immediate revocation of approvals for Pfizer’s ‘Comirnaty’ and Moderna’s ‘Spikevax’ Covid vaccines.

The petition also seeks independent testing of vaccine stocks, public advisories, and further research to support those potentially affected worldwide.

New Zealand Doctors Speaking Out with Science (NZDSOS), comprising hundreds of New Zealand health professionals, urges the public and media to confront the petition’s evidence and demand accountability.

The group has raised concerns repeatedly with regulators about undisclosed plasmid DNA in the vaccines, along with many other problems. We argue that the manufacturers’ secrecy, protected by confidentiality clauses, allowed the bypassing of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act, which would have required the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to assess the vaccines as genetically modified organisms (GMO’s). NZDSOS calls for the EPA to reassess Comirnaty in light of these findings.

The petition, lodged by a coalition of experts led by Australian barrister Julian J Gillespie and lawyer Katie Ashby-Koppens, presents the evidence of synthetic DNA contamination and regulatory failures with global implications. NZDSOS and Ashby-Koppens have both been informing the government of this major problem since 2023, every step of the way.

Extensive laboratory testing, including analysis by scientist and virologist Dr. David Speicher and nine independent labs worldwide, found all tested vials to be heavily contaminated with synthetic DNA.

This undeclared vaccine constituent – the doses are far too high to be considered merely a contaminant – is designed to infect bacteria to produce the mRNA, and raises concerns about potential integration into human cells, with at least one of the Australian batches tested by Dr Speicher in Canada also being administered to New Zealand children.

The petition highlights that detected DNA levels far exceed the outdated 10 ng/dose “naked” DNA limit, up to 145 times higher, and that lipid nanoparticle encapsulation may facilitate cellular and genomic integration.

“Billions of SV40 monkey virus insertions per dose have been found, with potential to cause ‘forever effects’ in our descendants, and trigger cancer – a risk regulators have acknowledged privately but dismissed publicly, despite international concern”, stated Gillespie.

The petition has drawn widespread public support, reflecting growing alarm over the issue.

“New Zealanders are urged to review the petition and submit comments to amplify this call for action” states Gillespie.

With a crisis confirmed by our Australian colleagues, the petition rests on two devastating grounds: the illegal gene therapy approvals, and dangerous DNA contamination.

Pfizer and Moderna dodged mandatory environmental risk assessments through wrongful Food and Drug Administration (FDA) exclusions, misclassifying their gene therapy products as ‘vaccines’ to avoid liability and proper testing.

Lead petitioner Julian Gillespie emphasises, “This violation of the law undermined transparency and informed consent, potentially invalidating approvals from the start. This is a dire situation worldwide, including Australasia.

“Australia and New Zealand have sounded the alarm globally. Despite mounting evidence, TGA, Medsafe and decision-makers have remained silent”.

NZDSOS continues to call for immediate withdrawal of these products from the New Zealand market, and a full investigation.
