Allegations have surfaced that some young Māori received the COVID mRNA jab multiple times in order to access government-provided food vouchers.
A video of a witness has emerged online of a witness who saw individuals who underwent three or more vaccinations under different names, disguises, and vehicles in an effort to secure repeated $100 food vouchers offered as incentives for the COVID jab.
It is not clear when the video was filmed, but in it a woman recounted an incident where a nurse recognised a repeat visitor, who broke down when recognised.
“He had no food. We were giving out $100 food vouchers for those who came to get vaccinated.” The video highlights the extreme lengths to which some lower socio-economic families went to access basic necessities during the jab rollout, raising questions over incentive-based public health strategies, medical ethics and informed consent.
