The government is set to appoint a Crown Observer to Wellington City Council, Local Government Minister Simeon Brown announced today.
This move follows months of internal conflict over the council’s long-term financial plan, including a controversial decision to reverse the proposed sale of the council’s stake in Wellington Airport.
Brown cited official advice from the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), which identified significant issues with the council’s financial management, particularly its approach to funding critical infrastructure like water and handling insurance risks.
The appointment of a Crown Observer aims to guide the council through the financial challenges, though the observer will not have direct decision-making power.
Mayor Tory Whanau has committed to “working constructively” with the appointed observer to move beyond internal disputes and build a more sustainable financial plan for Wellington.
The DIA raised concerns that the council’s reliance on ratepayer funds instead of debt financing for water infrastructure could overcharge residents by over $700 million in the coming decade.
Recent council meetings have been marked by dysfunction, including councillors walking out and public disputes.
That might inspire confidence were I of the belief that central government is more competent (or is that less incompetent?) than local government……
The truth is Tory Whanau was ill prepared and ill equipped for the mission she was entering into
The bath water had been thrown out and she was left holding the baby
A stark realization that the can had run out of road and that a band aid or self sealing gas tank could not come in under the radar to prevent a disclosure of an ominous forbidding collapse

What is needed in Wellington is good strong righteous White leadership
And the true meaning of what a rainbow represents
And why it is the perfect number
A bit like the atonement
A reconciliation between man (Adam – Of a ruddy complexion to show blood in the face to blush) and YAHWAH ELOHEEM God for transgression of the law committed in the Garden of Eden
Not something that perverts desecrates and defiles that meaning
Like the rainbow room in the masonic symbol Pharisaical Beehive
Which represents a covenant between YAHWAH and His chosen people Israel (Not Jews)
White Western Adamic Man
Genesis 9:13 “I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.”
A rainbow is when the refraction of light slows down resulting in a continuous spectrum
Interesting too that light travels around the earth seven times in one second
Like why the earth was made 24,000 miles in circumference to allow those asleep to believe the earth is rotating at over 1000 miles per hour – buckle up (Analemma)
And what happens when You write the number seven and put a dash through it?
Well You have just written the First letter of YAHWAH Gods name in Paleo (Old) Hebrew not Modern Hebrew Mesoretic text
The more things change the more they are the same
The white race does not have any other race over it not just because it is a chosen people but because it is the only race that contains the Holy spirit although not all of them (ELOHEEM-Creation)
Otherwise is a recipe for unfolding disaster which we are now witnessing
Which is another story because there is only one pure race left because it has been preserved as a vehicle to bring the ELOHEEM into 3D as a small portion of their true selves the Holy Spirit
All other races have been polluted and watered down into miscegenation
The truth is You do not know who or what You are talking to now
Another sign of the end of the age
In that day
The day of YAHWAH
Good luck on that
There is definitely an unruly destabilizing element permeating the Wellington City Council
Reds Greens misfits and political hacks
The can is now at the end of the road
And it is time to pay the piper
And face the music
The gate is straight and the road is narrow
Yeah, well, and now take your medication.
