Episode 4 of THE+TRIBUTE – Vibrant teen to total seclusion

Adyn’s battle with vaccine injury and the mental health cost of the Covid-19 response.

In just four weeks, the Tribute’s YouTube channel is rapidly approaching its first 3,000 subscribers. This milestone is underscored by hundreds of comments from New Zealanders, reflecting a deep sense of empathy and a growing public understanding of the challenges faced by the COVID-19 vaccine-injured.

Chris Lynch media covered the series as part of an interview with Film Director Gaylene Barnes and a story on the launch of the series combined the commentary has received over 100,000 views across social media showing the public interest in the Covid 19 vaccine injured, who have largely been invisible to the New Zealand public.

In the shadow of New Zealand’s aggressive Covid-19 vaccine rollout, young lives were forever altered, without true informed consent and then frequently met with denial from the very system meant to protect them.

THE+TRIBUTE continues to amplify these silenced voices, honouring the courage of those who stepped forward to share their raw journeys of harm, isolation and resilience.

This fourth episode features Adyn, just 17 in 2021, who went from a vibrant, active teen to facing terrifying symptoms, skyrocketing platelet counts, a misdiagnosis of leukemia as well as months of fear and seclusion after a single Pfizer dose.

His story exposes how the fear-inducing propaganda of the Covid-19 response led to a young teenager in terror of catching Covid, along with the fear of his newly diagnosed Essential Thrombocythemia with its potential blood clots and uncontrolled bleeding. His story is a positive one as he works hard on a slow path back to health through new treatments and eventual ACC recognition.

It underscores the urgent need for genuine accountability, transparency and respect for bodily autonomy under the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act.

Adyn’s Story: High platelets and thrombosis after Covid-19 vaccination

In the midst of New Zealand’s COVID-19 response, 17-year-old Adyn’s life took an unexpected turn following his first Pfizer vaccine dose. What began as a routine jab for Adyn in September 2021 quickly spiraled into a health crisis that isolated him from friends, family, and normal teenage life. This is his story of resilience, medical challenges, and eventual reclaiming of joy, shared to inspire others facing similar battles.

Adyn was a young, healthy active student at Boys High in Christchurch, who prioritized friends, football, and fitness over everything.

“I was quite healthy. I always picked spending time with friends and family over anything else. I just wanted to be out and about.”

He received early access to the vaccine as his stepdad was high-risk. The process felt surreal—like a military operation with MPs present, a strange sense of ceremony.

“It was kind of like, it seemed like a military base. I felt famous almost. I felt like I was graduating high school.”

Symptoms hit fast. Within 40 hours: blurry vision, violently shaking hands turning purple, brain fog so severe he couldn’t focus or even recall his classroom. His skin flared—eczema returning worse than ever, extremities feeling icy while his core burned.

“My hands were shaking a lot… I basically just kept shaking, like very violently… my hands were going purple… All my extremities were [cold]. But my core temperature was boiling.”

A doctor spotted unequal pupils, suspecting a clot. Blood tests 13 days post-vaccination revealed platelets at 967,000—double the healthy max of 450,000. Counts kept climbing past 1,000,000.

“Normally someone would have about 150 to 300 of these, but the maximum is 450, and mine was far above that.”

Platelets, produced in bone marrow alongside red and white cells, clump to seal damaged vessels, stopping bleeding and aiding healing. But extremes bring opposite dangers: clots from highs, or uncontrolled bleeding from lows if unchecked. Adyn was given terrifying warnings that levels near 1,500,000 risked catastrophic bleeding.

Diagnosed initially with leukemia by a hematologist, he was devastated. “I thought I had five years to live,” he recalls. Further tests clarified it as essential thrombocythemia (ET), a blood disorder where bone marrow overproduces platelets. Though rare in youth, the timing—symptoms starting immediately after vaccination—eventually convinced him and his family of a link.

“It almost happened directly afterwards.”

Cognitive issues also continued to worsen: slurred speech like a stroke, drooling and anxiety. Deemed “high-risk for COVID” because of his vaccine-induced condition, Adyn isolated himself, building metaphorical “walls” and a “ship” to cast himself away from friends and family, fearing Covid, if he caught it, would be fatal. He confined himself to his room for six months post-lockdown.

“I told all my friends that I had to be away from them. I couldn’t go near them. My family as well. I just thought if I went outside, I’d catch Covid. I thought it was kind of, like, looming through the air. It was quite scary because I thought with my condition, if I was to get Covid, that that would be the end of it.”

Treatment was grueling. Chemo pills caused muscle loss and weight drop to 66kg, making him fear they’d kill him faster than ET. Switching to expensive interferon (Pegasys) injections brought counts down to 500-600, boosting his energy and immunity. He’s now in remission, monitored annually. Adyn explains that he’s likely caught COVID five or six times but recovered easily, finally realizing his fears were amplified by “over-dramatised” messaging.

A 2022 systematic review of studies of over 125,000  children and adolescents  report high prevalence of COVID-19-related fear, as well as mental health deterioration, such as depressive and anxious symptoms due to COVID‐19 pandemic control measures. Those with chronic physical conditions were more likely to experience negative mental health outcomes.*

Adyn discusses how applying for ACC (Accident Compensation Corporation) was a battle as his blood specialists denied vaccine links. However, a supportive GP advocated for him, highlighting the 13-day platelet spike, instant neurological conditions and thrombocytosis, leading to an ACC medical claim acceptance. They reimbursed his costs, including interferon, but denied a lump sum, as his hematologist wouldn’t confirm causation.

“It didn’t feel like they were human, it kind of felt like they were just talking off of what they’ve been told to say. And they weren’t open to any different opinions at all.”

School suffered; he studied from home but failed classes, dropping out in Year 13 to pivot to training for fitness coaching.

Today, in his early 20’s, Adyn’s now a personal trainer, embracing life even though he explains his ET carries a 1% risk of mutating to aggressive leukemia.

Support from family and his ex-partner was crucial: “They held me up when I was falling.” He advises: “Don’t give up. Ride the waves, count your blessings, enjoy life.”

This experience flipped his worldview. From feeling invincible to rock bottom, he now appreciates health and relationships. Declining further vaccines, he urges self-care without taking well-being for granted. For those in similar “ships,” his message: Keep your head up—land awaits.

  1. Scary shart
I really feel empathy with these people
And people who were forced to take a debilitating clot shot masked as a vaccine for a virus that as such ostensibly does not exist and has never been proven to exist sold as safe proven effective warranted by fake PCR Test data which were never intended for that purpose
The whole shooting box was fake
That has altered some peoples lives forever
And has lost lives destroyed businesses and those connected livelihoods and the aspirations and hope of thousands
In creating long term misery and suffering
And what of the sinister unscrupulous medical fraternity fraudsters who provided the backdrop and who were pedaling and profited from this ghastly snake oil to the chorus of so called experts and their ill gotten gains at the expense of others backed up by MS Presstitue Corporate Media?
And who attacked those attempting to convey the truth such as Counterspin Media and Dr’s Sam and Mark Bailey without discourse to a long line of patriotic Kiwis
    Heads need to roll
But glaringly obviously is the fact these criminals were given immunity protection and a free get out of jail pass which is why they carried on with such frivolous callous disregard for the well being of others
Cash cows to be milked used and abused being part of aspirations to world wide hegemony takeover and control
This goes back a long way the foundation stone and building blocks being furnished by scientists provided with funding to provide the required answers such as Dr Judy Mikovits with erroneous claims as to having isolated separated and in identifying a virus
All the cover stories and excuses have long since been cast in stone in preparation for the world wide plandemic scamdemic
Matthew 24:24 “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
No wonder Ardern deemed it as not being safe to reside in NZ and who took to ‘her’ scrappers even while having a hole in the fuel tank
But Ardern is not the only one
And others need to be called out and held to account
