Former FBI director James Comey has turned himself in to authorities after being charged over a social media post prosecutors claim threatened US President Donald Trump’s life.
The case centres on a now-deleted Instagram image showing seashells arranged into the numbers “86 47”, which investigators argue could be interpreted as a call to remove or harm Trump, the 47th president.
Comey denies the allegation, insisting he was “unaware” of any violent meaning attached to the phrase and accusing officials of pursuing him for political reasons.
Attorney General Todd Blanche rejected claims the prosecution was politically driven, saying threats against a sitting president must be treated seriously.
Comey surrendered to federal authorities in the Eastern District of Virginia and later appeared in federal court in Alexandria, Virginia. He was allowed to remain free without special conditions while the case proceeds and did not enter a plea during the brief hearing.
Sounds about as real as Top Gear lads in Argentina.

It’s American slang, been in use for decades. I dunno, if you don’t understand Google it maybe 🤷🏼♂️
Several different connotations; but usually refers to ending/cancelling something. Definitely can be interpreted to mean killing, especially when coming from the slimy former head of a US Deep state Intelligence agency, especially one who worked for Obama/Clinton/Biden and has a long and documented history of antagonism towards Trump (eg his involvement in operation Crossfire Hurricane).
Oh… and Comey also LITERALLY wrote a book in which one of his characters uses coded messages to call for assassinations.
So yeah, all of that in totality does seem kinda bad 😕
Apparently he is a big taylor swift fan, goes to her concerts, if true, that says it all, lol.
