Police were called to a two vehicle crash on West Coast Road shortly before 4:50pm.
‘Sadly, one person died at the scene,’ said police in a statement.
‘Three people suffered serious injuries, and two others suffered minor to moderate injuries.
‘The road has since reopened, the Serious Crash Unit are investigating the cause of the crash.’
