Emergency services were called to the intersection of Milson Line and Ruahine Street in Roslyn about 7pm Thursday night.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in a serious condition, where they have later died.
The Serious Crash Unit was notified, and the road is expected to fully reopen shortly.
