Fatal crash on Auckland’s Northwestern Motorway
Police can confirm that the single-vehicle crash in Massey, Auckland overnight was fatal.
A motorcyclist crashed while on the Northwestern Motorway near Lincoln Road around 10:25pm.
Despite efforts by emergency services, the driver sadly at the scene.
Serious crash, Kaipara Coast Highway
One person has died following a single motorcycle crash on the Kaipara Coast Highway, near Kanohi Rd, Kaukapakapa.
The crash was reported about 12.45pm yesterday and the circumstances remain under investigation.
The road reopened about 5pm.
Fatal crash, State Highway 3, Hangatiki
One person has died following the earlier two-vehicle crash on SH3, near Hangatiki.
Four other people have been seriously injured.
The road is expected to remain closed for some hours while the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene.
