Fatal crash, Tahuna Road, Te Hoe
Police can confirm one person has died in the two-vehicle crash reported on Tahuna Road in Waikato on Friday.
The incident was reported to emergency services just before 3pm.
One person died at the scene, despite the efforts of emergency personnel.
A second person remains in moderate condition.
Enquiries into the circumstances of crash is ongoing.
Fatal crash, Geraldine
One person has died following a crash in Geraldine on Thursday night.
Police were notified of the single-vehicle crash on Orari Station Road, around 8.15pm.
Sadly, the sole occupant of the vehicle was found deceased at the scene.
The road was closed while the Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination and it re-opened early Friday.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
