A Hamilton High Court judge has jailed a Te Kūiti man for six years after he admitted killing his 10-month-old son with a violent blow to the abdomen that caused catastrophic internal injuries.
Mukzameel Ali pleaded guilty to manslaughter and two charges of assaulting his partner after initially denying responsibility for the child’s death in June 2024.
The court heard Ali became frustrated while attempting to feed the unwell infant before inflicting the fatal injury, which left the baby in severe pain and led to his death within a short period.
Justice Layne Harvey described the violence as extreme and said Ali was “fortunate to escape a conviction for murder”, while the child’s mother told the court she continued to live with overwhelming grief following the loss of her son.

Good fathers kill themselves because they are fighting for many years at the family court to be good fathers, while this &^%$ gets six years for killing a child. OUTRAGEOUS!

This penalty is not enough. It should have been appealed .
This man took away a childs life. His right to live amongst us is forfeit.
Was the child vaccinated and then suffered regressions ie screaming day & night? Glassed-over eyes? Spilling food all of the time? Awake at all hours screaming until the parents can’t take any more, both mentally and physically from the lack of sleep causing brain fog?
Was the child known to be disabled but the parents had no help whatsoever, driving Dad to make a decision after weighing options?
I’m not defending a baby killer by any means, but something must have been the trigger, and the triggering aspects of the reaction must have been considered in the courts.
BUT-

One family we know has an only child, who was a 10 on the APCAR, but after vaccinations ended-up autistic.

As if Thimerosol and Mercury weren’t problematic enough in the MMR vaccine…
