France to officially recognise Palestinian State in September

Palestine news

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that France will officially recognise the State of Palestine at the UN General Assembly in September, making it the first G7 nation to do so.

Macron framed the move as part of a broader call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages, and humanitarian aid.

The decision was welcomed by Palestinian officials and praised by countries like Saudi Arabia, but harshly condemned by Israel and the United States, which called the move “reckless.”

Macron’s announcement comes amid increasing international pressure for a two-state solution, as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens following Israel’s military response to the October 7 Hamas attacks.

    • You can count on it. All “french” J’s are outraged and foaming at the mouth. Especially those who have a dual nationality and possess some villa in israhell. All vipers veciforating. But we know that they have no loyalty to any govt or country and don t participate to the prosperity of any country. More like locusts
Pro israhell propaganda continues as MSM are owned by the same.

  1. New Zealand’s position is consistent with that of the United States, and it remains one of the few countries that has not recognized Palestine despite the fact that over 75% of UN member states have done so.
We desperately need change the uni-party governance.
NZ Loyal needs to issue an official recognition of Palestine.

    • If NZ loyal ever choose to behave responsibly and do what they should do, then I’d definitely vote for them in 2026 despite their poor 1% performance at the last election. Right now I think NZ Loyal remain gutless and racist – lacking maturity, and lacking credibility

  2. Maybe you ignorant anonymous people could do some history lessons. Palestine referred to Israel in the 40s before it officially became a nation state. It’s amazing how people can be so willingly ignorant, by choice of bias.

    • Do you actually understand history? What is a nation state? This concept is an artificial construct in international law and abused to persecute people with.

The United Nations was formed in 1948 and the major decision they made at that time was to recognise Israel as a nation state – and Israel has remained the western sponsor of state terrorism ever since 1948.

How well do you know your history? The USA starting from their original 13 colonies stole the rest of today’s USA by wiping out the natives and today confining them to open air prisons aka reservations.

The Australians did exactly the same to the native aborigines using the same principle – terra nullis

They did the same in NZ but the Treaty of Waitangi seems to obstruct such terra nullis.

Israel is currently putting into practice the same terra nullis their western supporters have practised. Israel is eradicating the indigenous Palestinian inhabitants in exactly the same way the USA and Australia and Canada created their countries.

Not a bad idea to discover history eh?

    • Whoa M, you really cut through the ‘anonymous’ concept, ay?
And thank you for your eye-opening discourse on historic knowledge. You should be a lecturer at Victoria university.

    • Here is a little more history to understand Israeli apartheid by comparing and contrasting it with South African apartheid. The apartheid in both cases was entrenched by economics – cheap labour was needed and exploited by the government.

In South African apartheid, the whites needed cheap black labour to run their factories and mines so this relationship between the whites and the blacks was the reason why Nelson Mandela did not die in prison.

Contrast this with Israeli apartheid where Israel once needed, but now no longer needs cheap Palestinian labour and hence Israel no longer needs Palestinian survival and is free to exterminate the Palestinians. Why? How did this change occur?

When Israel became a nation state in 1948, the newly established Israeli apartheid regime needed cheap Palestinian labour just like South African apartheid. But the Jews of Israel were unlike the whites of South Africa – the Jews came from all over the world and included significant proportions of Russian-speakers (including for example former PM Golda Meir). The initial Israeli dependence on cheap Palestinian labour began eroding in the 1990s.

Soviet communism fragmented in the 1990s which enabled heaps of Russian-speaking Jews in the former USSR and Eastern Europe to travel and settle in Israel – these Russian-speaking immigrants into Israel 30 and 20 years ago simply replaced the cheap Palestinian labour in Israel who were then no longer needed by the Israeli economy. This changing trend in Israel has been clear over the past 30 years and is accelerating with the reckless extermination of the Palestinian people in Israel.

Today’s Russian-speaking Jewish demographic within Israel is distinct and well-recognised. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_language_in_Israel#:~:text=Russian%20and%20a%20number%20of,have%20settled%20in%20the%20area.
      https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/putins-israel-remarks-must-be-taken-seriously/

The Palestinians in Israel have been replaced – mainly by the recent arrivals of Russian-speaking Jews in the last 30 years. The wealthier Israelis also hire cheap Asian labour – mainly Filipino, many Chinese and others – to do menial work done by Palestinian labour 30+ years ago.

These changing demographics in contemporary Israel accelerate and incentivise Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people. The Israelis simply don’t need the Palestinians any longer.
