Germany is ready to act as a central logistics hub for NATO in the event of a war with Russia, with plans in place to deploy up to 800,000 troops across Europe within six months, Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank has revealed.

Speaking at the Bundeswehr’s annual conference in Berlin, the head of Germany’s joint operations command said the military’s *Operations Plan Germany*—a 1,000-page document drafted last year—outlines how the country would facilitate the rapid movement of soldiers and equipment from NATO allies if Article 5 were triggered. “Russia still possesses significant military potential despite the war in Ukraine and could launch a limited attack on NATO territory as early as tomorrow,” Sollfrank warned.

German leaders have intensified their rhetoric toward Moscow in recent weeks. Chancellor Friedrich Merz has ruled out renewed diplomacy with Russia, while Defence Minister Boris Pistorius told the conference that “our way of life is in danger.”

Moscow has repeatedly denied posing any threat to NATO, dismissing such claims as attempts to justify what it calls Germany’s “militarisation.” Russian officials have criticised Berlin’s growing defence budget, with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accusing Germany of showing “clear signs of re-Nazification.” Recent reports suggest Germany’s rearmament plans could cost nearly €377 billion ($440 billion).

  1. Or military strategist agree nuclear weapons will only be used when a collapse is inevitable. Meaning if Russia can not defend, it will launch.

My first thought was in time new leaders will come along and new solutions would be acceptable. However from what we thought was democracy it turns out these people are chosen for us to pick an opinion. Other countries have dictators. I question, whats the difference?

Sitting above this is the UN and WHO. Unelected bureaucrats who engaged NATO to set up shop in Ukraine. Far too close to Russia. This is the single provocation that has led to denial of rare earth metals and a regional war.

The war would end today if NATO honours thier agreement not to move into Russia. Russia would export rear earth metals to the west. How simple is that?

Too right. I’d rather live under a benevolent king than in the shit shows thej call demockcazy.

  2. Europe’s way of life is in danger, but not from Russia. The threat they face is their own dysfunctional totalitarian “leaders”.

  3. They bled Europe dry of money and now they want to bleed it dry of people. Clear now why they are importing pretty much anyone into Europe.

  5. Dream on. Nato troops in Europe are collectively about half that figure. Trump wants to pull US troops out. All it would take is few Oreshnik hypersonic missiles to wipe out all Nato bases in Germany. Good advice for F. Merz and his generals — don’t start a war you can’t win.

  6. There is zero public support in Europe for a war with Russia. It’ s only idiot leaders like this clown and others in NATO talking tough. Which means one thing: nuclear war, precipated and escalated rapidly by these cowardly warmongers before any public opposition has time to get off the ground and protest in the streets. Which is why Russian officials have recently publicly said they will go after the bunkers where the cowardly elites will be hiding

  7. Germany is broke and need all the revenue from food , petrol , etc etc .
