The government has announced a $30 million investment over four years to expand classroom capacity in state-integrated schools, aiming to support growing demand and give parents more educational choice.
The funding, more than five times the previous government’s contribution, is expected to create up to 1,250 new student places.
Education Minister Erica Stanford said the classrooms will use cost-effective, repeatable designs and offsite manufacturing to maximise impact, with schools able to apply for funding in the coming weeks.
