Methane vaccines are experimental treatments designed to reduce methane emissions from ruminant animals like cows by targeting the microbes in their stomachs that produce methane.
Cows produce methane primarily through enteric fermentation—a digestive process in the rumen (first stomach) where microbes break down food.
The vaccine stimulates the cow’s immune system to produce antibodies in saliva, which then suppress methanogens—the methane-producing microbes.
These antibodies reduce the activity or population of methanogens, thereby lowering methane emissions from burps, which are a major source of agricultural greenhouse gases.

Danish cows are collapsing with some being euthanized after farmers were forced by their government to add Bovaer, “a methane-reducing feed additive” into their dairy cows’ diet. The cows recovered after Bovaer was withheld from use by the farmers.
It was never about reducing methane, but a means for the government to poison and slow kill a protein rich food supply in the name of “climate change”. Another blatant attack on our food supply by our governments.

Just another waste of taxpayer money on another globalist problem, reaction, solution scheme. climate change as Pushed by greta and al gore is not real.

A partial comment here: Yes, methane is a normal part of the ruminant digestive system and on our current understanding and research to date one of the nature-designed important functions of methanogens in the rumen is to serve as a hydrogen sink so as to reduce hydrogen partial pressure. Understanding of these functions including the carbon flow in this digestive system is increasing every year. The system is complex and the most objective and impartial scientists and researchers will try to understand (as much as possible) the consequences that result from intervention in this system. The reality is that this is not always the case and product development can be politically driven and go off half-cocked. You cannot have a single-purpose intervention in one of nature’s systems (such as the ruminant digestive system here) without causing various or multiple consequences. Unfortunately, this principle is sometimes ignored.

Comes a bit late for the 100 million or so buffalo that burped and farted their way around the praires before colonization. Makes you wonder how the planet survived doesn’t it.

These MP’s seem to have a death wish for the NZ public. They pushed the poison covid jabs, they push the poison fluoride into our water, they’re hush hush on the constant chemtrailing of our skies and now they’re doing their best to kill and maim our livestock with these crazy dangerous ‘methane’ inhibitors.
