Green Party co-leaders address Golriz Ghahraman shoplifting incidents

Golriz Ghahraman news

Green Party co-leaders James Shaw and Marama Davidson have addressed recent allegations of shoplifting by MP Golriz Ghahraman.

What we know so far:

  1. Allegations of Shoplifting: Golriz Ghahraman, ranked seventh on the Green Party’s list and a former holder of the party’s justice portfolio, faces allegations of shoplifting from Scotties Boutique in Ponsonby, Auckland, on December 23. The police are investigating this incident.
  2. Green Party’s Knowledge and Response: Party co-leaders, James Shaw and Marama Davidson, confirmed they were made aware of an initial allegation involving Ghahraman and Scotties Boutique on December 27. They sought clarification from the store and Ghahraman, who was on an overseas trip.
  3. Second Incident: On January 5, the leaders were informed of a second incident at Scotties. They agreed to address these issues with Ghahraman upon her return to New Zealand. The Green Party did not publicise these allegations initially as the store preferred to keep them private. Ghahraman agreed to step down from her portfolios until the matter is resolved.
  4. Party’s Stance and Action: Shaw and Davidson emphasised the party’s commitment to addressing such matters fairly. They will not comment further until they have ‘all the facts’ and have spoken with Ghahraman after her return.
  5. Details of the Incident: Sources allege that the value of the items Ghahraman allegedly took on December 23 was around $15,000. She was reportedly stopped by staff when attempting to leave without paying and refused to open her bag. The clothing was later returned anonymously to the store.
  6. Current Situation: Ghahraman is overseas on a pre-planned personal trip. The Green Party has confirmed her temporary withdrawal from all portfolio responsibilities until the allegations are resolved.
  7. No Comment from Scotties: Scotties Boutique has declined to comment in detail but confirmed the incident is being handled by the police.

  1. All these leftards on Twitter defending her or trying to minimise her behaviour need to go and have a good long hard look in the mirror and ask themselves why they are still supporting these worth grifting parasites that are the greens. The greens don’t even care about the environment either. All they stand for is hate, division, Marxism and hypocrisy.

I hope this finishes them off for good. labour is finished, make politics all about conservatism amd self responsibility. Fix this world.
