Hanson suspended from Australian Senate following Burqa-wearing stunt

The Australian Senate erupted into turmoil after One Nation leader Pauline Hanson entered the chamber wearing a black burqa and a floral dress, moments after being prevented from introducing her long-running proposal to ban full face coverings nationwide.

The 71-year-old’s appearance triggered immediate condemnation from fellow senators, who labelled the act “racist” and “Islamophobic”. Hanson refused to remove the garment, prompting the Senate president to suspend proceedings and order her removal.

It marked the second time Hanson has worn a burqa in Parliament, following a controversial 2017 appearance when she claimed the attire posed security risks.

Her latest protest drew sharp criticism from Greens senator Mehreen Faruqi, who said the stunt showed “blatant racism,” and Independent senator Fatima Payman, who accused Hanson of disrespecting Muslim Australians.

After heated debate, senators voted to suspend Hanson until she returned in “appropriate” attire, preventing her from moving or debating her motion entirely. Hanson later doubled down on social media, vowing to continue wearing the burqa until Australia bans it, and accusing Parliament of hypocrisy for rejecting her bill. Greens leader Larissa Waters said the stunt achieved nothing but making people of colour feel less safe, calling the behaviour “an abomination.”

  1. The only country that mandates women wear the burqa is Afghanistan. The same country imposes death by public stoning for adulterous women. Quite why those bat shit crazy Aussie women Senators would want to protect the rights of Afghan men imported into Australia that demand their chattel wives wear that horrific garment is beyond me. The Quran makes no mention that women must wear a burqa.

  2. If anyone is entertaining the idea of running for public office, and if you have full knowledge of the Global, Zionist NWO Conspiracy, you can bet that the ‘governing body’ will ensure you will never get elected, and if you did by some massive majority of the vote, you can also bet that you will never be allowed due process under Robert Rules of Order once you enter office.
You will be denied the representation of your precinct, electorate, state, etc. via constant disruptions, and marginalising your right to speak or address an issue.
Most NGO’s are overturning the rule of law now, as they operate outside of due process and pay-off the corrupt Zionist politicians.
Pay attention to Max Blumenthal stating that Wall Street, London, etc. all have politicians conducting insider trading, and that such will never be outlawed or made illegal as this is where MP’s Con-gress Critters and Senators make their money, especially in the illegal cocaine money laundering process and with insider trading in the stocks involving the Military Industrial Complex.
This will con-tinue until the J3wi$h Zionist Lobbies are removed from all forms and levels of government (ie AIPAC, ADL, SPLC, etc.)

  3. Unfortunately Australia is not the country it used to be. Very sad watching its decline. So many problems: showing that multi culturalism doesn’t work.

  4. Sadly, New Zealand has no one like Hanson. Instead we have the usual spineless, derascinated, sell outs, who bang on about “racism”, whilst, in fact, completely ignoring the fact both New Zealand and Australia have a longstanding, embedded European culture, that is deserving of respect, in its own right. A culture that along the NZ Maori fought two world wars, the only reason these political arse holes are not speaking German or Japanese, right now.

Still nothing “racist” denigrating European culture, right?

  5. Media forgot to mention, that the House refused to vote on her bill to ban the Barqua. Yet she was not allowed to wear it …. interesting.
