At about 2am Sunday 9 January Invercargill Police attended an incident where a male was assaulted while walking home on Herbert Street.
He sustained a bleeding nose and a concussion.
Shortly before the assault, a red or maroon Subaru Impreza hatchback (similar to the one pictured) was seen turning onto Herbert Street. There were four male passengers in the car, which was driven by a female.
