Iran’s foreign minister says the country is open to diplomatic talks once aggression ceases and accountability is ensured, following European efforts to revive discussions over Tehran’s nuclear programme.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told reporters that Iran is “ready to consider diplomacy once again once the aggression is stopped” and “the aggressor is held accountable for the heinous crimes committed”.
Ministers from France, the UK, and Germany expressed support for ongoing dialogue, but US President Donald Trump dismissed their influence, asserting Iran wants to talk only with the US.
Meanwhile, hostilities between Iran and Israel have escalated, with fresh Iranian strikes hitting Israel and Israeli forces responding by targeting missile sites in Tehran. Iran insists its nuclear programme is peaceful and that its right to self-defence is non-negotiable.
Unconfirmed reports state Araghchi survived an assassination attempt in Geneva ahead of talks with his European counterparts.

The West is run by criminals……..As for talks, that’s not the plan here. Its about decapitation of Iranian leadership and regime change. That said, the US is going to get more than a black eye from Iran if they push this. Its not a soft target like Libya or Iraq.
Not just criminals, but child-trafficking, cocaine-snorting, war-mongering Zionist-supporting criminals who have no regard for human life as noted in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and soon Pakistan!
If Israel is demanding that Iran NOT have nuclear weapons, then Israel too should divest themselves of the same!
But, the hypocrisy and double standards reek of Small Hat ‘entitlement’ from falsely thinking that they are ‘God’s Chosen People’…
