Israel bombs Iranian state media in Tehran, claims it has ‘full aerial control’

Israel has confirmed launching airstrikes on Iranian state media buildings in Tehran’s District 3, with dramatic footage showing debris falling during a live broadcast and a presenter fleeing the studio.

The strikes followed an Israeli military warning for civilians to evacuate the area, which was described as housing “military infrastructure.” Israeli military officials later declared they had “achieved full aerial control above Tehran,” claiming to have destroyed one-third of Iran’s surface-to-surface missile launchers.

Iran accused Israel of targeting civilian sites, including a hospital in the west of the country.

According to Iran’s health ministry, at least 224 people have been killed in Israeli strikes since Friday. In Israel, 24 people have died due to Iranian missile attacks, including eight overnight in cities such as Tel Aviv and Haifa. Nearly 300 have been hospitalised.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian addressed parliament Monday, urging unity in the face of what he called “criminal aggression” and reaffirming Iran’s right to pursue peaceful nuclear research. He stressed Iran does not seek nuclear weapons but warned that “hundreds of other heroes” would rise in resistance after each attack.

Amid escalating violence, Iran’s foreign ministry said the cancellation of nuclear talks with the U.S. was due to Washington’s failure to condemn Israel’s actions.

Spokesperson Esmail Baghai called ongoing negotiations “meaningless” under the current conditions and warned that if parliament chooses to exit the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the decision would be binding.

Tensions continue to rise with no ceasefire in sight, as both nations trade strikes and diplomatic relations with key global powers deteriorate.

  1. I am so disgusted what Israel is doing. I don’t agree with Irans regime but the bombing of innocent people on this trumped u-p lie that Iran wants to start a nuclear war is disgraceful.

Israel – and America who supports it – is creating enemies worldwide.

We the people of the world want peace. Being anti war isn’t anti semetic, let’s call that out for what it is. So, to anyone who continues to promulgate war, WE SEE YOU. That includes you UK, don’t you think we don’t see your role in this evil as well. 😡

    • There are not many countries that openly chant Death to America and Death to Israel as they prepare to arm themselves with nuclear weapons. Doesn’t come across as being so innocent as you claim.

      • Well, North Korea developped a nuke. To keep away a.o. the US vulture. With success.
It is accepted as common knowledge that Iran does not have a nuke and does not intend to make one
But even so, why should not Iran do the same as North Korea, hé ? The US were thrown out of Iran end 70 and since then they have been looking for any reason to attack Iran and steal their oil.
And now, crime of crimes, Iran is part of BRICS and has good relation with Russia and China, the new ” ennemy”.
