
Former ACT Party president Tim Jago has lost his appeal against convictions for sexually abusing two teenage boys in the 1990s, with the Court of Appeal dismissing his arguments over jury directions and sentencing.
The court upheld his two-and-a-half-year prison term, noting the sentence was stern but fairly reduced for his previous good character.
