Jones rallies Warkworth crowd with immigration and nuclear energy pitch

Deputy NZ First leader Shane Jones fired up a packed public meeting in Warkworth on Sunday, declaring immigration would be central to the party’s upcoming campaign while also announcing NZ First would debate adopting nuclear power at its conference next Saturday.

Jones drew repeated applause as he attacked “wokeness,” the Greens, Te Pāti Māori—mockingly calling it the “Moa Party”—and former PM Jacinda Ardern.

He said neither National nor Act had been told of the nuclear energy proposal, which he described as a bold first for any New Zealand party.

Speaking for 45 minutes, Jones covered immigration, economic development, mining, and social issues, with supporters responding enthusiastically both in the hall and online, where he posted that the event was standing room only.

  1. They can campaign on anything they like using dog whistle style politics. Because when they get voted in they have to work as a coalition party and are conveniently unable to implement those policies, or even go against them.

Like the TPPA they campaigned against but signed its offshoot. Like the immigration that has happened during this term. Like the mRNA platform for the covid shots that are dangerous and they have done jack about, while more are lined up for kiwis

    • If thorium nuclear fuel was employed (much safer than any known nuclear fuel- 89% safe in rad emissions…) , in triple-walled nuclear reactor chambers, and the nuclear power plants placed on floating barges on inland bodies of water away from tsumani zones away from major fault lines, then I can see no reason as to why we can’t have affordable consistent nuclear power generation.
Placing the nuke on a barge in water acts as a natural shock absorber from quakes.
And you also locate the plants away from volcanoes and major active fault lines.
Floating on a pond or small lake means that a piped water supply is not needed in the event of a quake rupturing water mains, as the plant workers can draw directly from the lake / pond…
But…like the water-powered hydrogen engines that Toyota and Musk are now starting to build (by-passing EV’s that used lithium batteries that catch fire on car ferries and eventually sink ships), H2o extraction is non-hazardous for vehicles.

Marsden Point would only then refine diesel, Avgas and jet fuel, with oil-based products (crankcase oils, oil for paints, cosmetics, plastics, etc.).
I wrote to the energy minister 3 years ago about ‘going nuclear’ with thorium- – got nothing back for a response.

  2. Immigration of whom exactly?

The cost of living in NZ has forced people to seek a better outcome for themselves. Are we to replace the people who left with incompatible people from nations who do not align with our traditional values?

New Zealand used to punch well above it weight in export both in quality and volume. Why is it that making pure food with GE and atomic energy is even being considered?

People are awake to cancer-causing alternative production of food just because it cost saving. This will be a backwards step.

The plans to build 6 new hydro power stations over 2 rivers is ready to go. The key to this is to make what is required in NZ from our resources A bit less pen pushing and a lot more building infrastructure is key to a better future.

Over taxation and way over the top regulation is crippling the economy. Its too hard to supply products and services when working capital is gobbled up by the government. Easily to understand just why business can’t make it work anymore.

  3. Hoping to step into the shoes of a UK Reform -restyled party? Sorry NZF but the company you have been keeping suggests otherwise. Where’s your opposition to the disgusting Gene Tech Bill and a whole raft of other awful legislation from National and ACT? Yeah, thanks but no thanks.

For myself its either TOP or NZ Loyal (if they are still around) this coming election.

  4. I asked / e-mailed Shane Jones as to when Marsden Point was going to re-open after being modernised, and would the government offer a rebate for petrol vehicles to convert over to *LPG? (*99 Octane equivilent, 99% clean burn, $1.53 / litre)?
I asked about floating nuclear powerplants using thorium fuel, that would be built on barges and placed on man-made large ponds / small lakes to buffer from earthquakes, and why was there suddenly a natural gas shortage when NZOG stated some 10+ years ago that NZ had a 420+ year gas supply within our territories..
    NO ANSWER EVER CAME!!!!

  5. While the enemy is our Parliament and its masters—the Dutch-Venetian Bankers from the City of London and European Oligarch’s, operating the British Imperialist System for the last 400 years, all yapping puppet politicians do is make promises they can’t keep. “We’re going to make it the Moa Party,” Jones said. What, the Maori Own Aotearoa Party. Did he speak truth?
As voting for puppets of the British Imperialist System (which owns/controls its parliaments), won’t change the rotten system, the best I can do is write I DO NOT CONSENT across the ballot. At least that is counted as a valid protest vote.

  6. Loyal Party NZ, is it back again? What happen to it’s original starter upper?. So as long as LPNZ doe NOT have Freemason as Leader, what do they offer, different to the Ba,al Hat owned Parties? Do they bring in a amendments to the BOR including, Right to Free Speech, Right to Bear Arms, the Real History of the World, real drinking water, no neurotoxins, real education, real food – no additives, real medicine – no big pharma poisons, no GST, PAYG taxes, ie no Usury, remove UN, WHO, WEF, Freemasons et al from NZ, Making NZ an Occult FREE Sanctuary? What Politic Party will then look into the CHCH 2016 FF, look into the 2019-2020 COVID mass poisoning of the Civilian Population, which Police and Military will enforce THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE, and arrest those Pagan Pollies and Pagan Bureaucrats for their Treason and other crimes? Unity Parties are incoming,.. FYI…Jesus is King – Frak the Ba,al Hats
