NZ Loyal leader and Māngere candidate Kelvyn Alp has outlined his party’s economic and political priorities in an interview with Maree Buscke on RCR, placing monetary reform at the centre of its election platform.
Alp discussed proposals for a 1% transaction tax and changes to the Reserve Bank, alongside broader plans to reform government operations, healthcare, regulation and political accountability.
The interview also explored NZ Loyal’s approach to the 2026 general election, including its grassroots campaigning, voter engagement and efforts to build support across the country.
