Auckland barrister and activist Hannah Lucy Swedlund, 28, has been convicted for orchestrating and carrying out red paint vandalism on National Party electorate offices, including that of Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, during a campaign opposing Israel’s war in Gaza.
Despite pleading for a discharge without conviction to protect her legal career, Judge Belinda Sellars ruled that Swedlund, as an officer of the court, knowingly engaged in sustained and planned illegal acts, imposing a conviction, reparation order, and non-custodial sentence.
According to a report in legacy media (paywalled), her case is now under review by the Law Society.

I would first like to say that I am far Right, but she should have paid some homeless dud to do this for her.

Standards are slipping everywhere
FAFO.
Chloe would have used green paint balls, and left a watermelon at the doorstep, symbolising;
The Watermelon Party; green on the outside, red on the inside!
Chippy would have sprayed stenciled slogans demanding Covid vaccine compliance…
National would have the NZDF Recruiters in front of it’s WEF / Zionist-based offices with a statue of Judith & Molech, ready to send Kiwi kids off to wars in which we have no business participating in…
I demand Chloe undergoes a medical examination to see if she has balls.
But it was ok for Antifa and BLM?
If she had thrown it at anything other than old politicians lairs, I suspect she would have gotten more lenient treatment. She makes a good point too, where is our outrage and sanctions on Israel. This country is too much the US puppet.
