Lotto NZ blocks global gambling syndicate amid plans to change Powerball odds

Lotto news

Lotto NZ has thwarted attempts by an international gambling syndicate to buy Powerball tickets, enforcing its rules that prohibit overseas purchases to maintain responsible gambling standards.

While such syndicates often operate anonymously and resell tickets without proper oversight, Lotto NZ confirmed the purchases were blocked and deemed ineligible for prizes.

The move comes as Lotto NZ plans to alter Powerball’s format by adding more balls, which would make winning less likely—shifting odds from 1 in 38 million to 1 in 42.2 million. The proposed changes are part of a five-year strategy and require government approval.

  1. Upon reading this, I’ll spend my $10 a week on Euro-Lotto and other overseas lotteries, even though a third party (Zionists on Cyprus) are running most overseas lottery picks.
Keeping the Zionists lottery cartels OUT of NZ is a good preventive measure, but adding on more balls to Powerball is the reason that many Kiwis will start playing offshore lotteries.
ALL NZ Lotteries should have a maximum line of 5 numbers per line, with those numbers being 1-40, and applying the same to Powerball.
I never play scratchies, so the money saved from abolishing those would increase the prize pool.
Elsewhere, if one didn’t hit the regular lottery, then $5 million is automatically added until the lotto was hit. This is NOT ‘Powerball’ in most nation / states.
When Powerball was played, that prize pool was naturally increased via a separate game draw.
In Several U.S. States, the balls were later exposed as being injected with mercury using a hypodermic syringe in order for those to remail low due to the added weight, and ‘winning’ was manipulated until the SBI caught the perps ( BLM / ANTIFA ).
Everything is becoming more difficult in this country under the grinning and arrogant delight of the politicians and their Zionist Globalist Handlers.
This time around, I’m voting for NZ LOYAL PARTY!
In the meantime, since the government continues to stack the odds of everything against us, I’m now playing Euro-Lotto, and Spain’s El-Gordo, the latter paying out hundreds of millions in the Christmas Drawing.

    • Australia changed their Powerbal games to where you now pick 7 numbers on reduced numbers of 35. They also reduced the Powerball pick numbers down to 20. What this does is increase the chances for the smaller prizes but makes it harder to win the top prizes. This is why $100m plus jackpots are being created.

  2. How often do Weights & Measurements from MBIE weigh and inspect the lotto balls?
Once the odds for Powerball are increased, that is when I stop playing…!
Increasing the odds (5 numbers per line) with 1-35 would actually generate more lotto revenue, but the PTB have been noted as saying; “The wrong types of people are winning the lotteries.”
That statement came out of the U.S. and the U.K..!
