Prime Minister Christoper Luxon’s electoral office in east Auckland’s Botany was vandalised for the third time in less than six months, with the latest incident involving graffiti urging the granting of visas.

The vandals defaced an poster of Luxon by adding a Hitler moustache and hair, as well as tagging a wall with the phrase ‘Grant the Visas’.

On the earlier occasions the office was splattered with red paint and tagged with messages supporting Palestine.

The November vandalism was linked to the activist group Tāmaki for Palestine, which also targeted the office of ACT leader David Seymour.

Local residents told State media RNZ they were frustrated by recurring vandalism in the area. The police have yet to make a statement regarding the latest incident.

This vandalism comes as several NGOs including World Vision, Save the Children, and Greenpeace, have called on the government to introduce a special ‘humanitarian visa’ for Palestinians in Gaza with ties to New Zealand.

  1. 75 percent or so of Palestinians supported the atrocities of 7 October 2023 against Israel. How would they be vetted? Would each be put on a polygraph and injected with truth serum in order to verify that they had no ill intent for New Zealand and its people? I seriously doubt it. They would be let in after saying an appropriate “word salad” such that the relevant authorities get a “nice warm feeling”.

If 75 percent or so of Palestinians are willing to commit or support atrocities like that because of some given excuse, how long would it be before they commit terror in New Zealand for other spurious reasons? Would they respect “freedom of speech” for people in New Zealand that support Israel, or would the Palestinians start to riot and hunt them down on the streets and beat them up? Would we then see in New Zealand what has already been seen in the EU?

Also, if it is “their land” and they don’t want to leave, then why do they want to come here at all, and why do some people want to let them in? Do the people that want to let them in actually want the unrest because “fear effects control” and allows freedoms for the people of New Zealand to be eroded further.
