Man charged with assault at Posie Parker event appears in court

The man is charged with assaulting a female supporter of Posie Parker at the #LetWomenSpeak event last month.

Following a brief appearance today, he was granted bail and name suppression.

He was ordered not to associate with the complainant and not to act violently towards anyone or anything.

Police warned the public to be careful about what they post online about the incident while the matter is before the courts.

He will appear again in court in May.

  1. I wonder why his name is supressed. His photograph was all over social media. There is a video of him punching the woman. Hmm – but perhaps his name will give information as to who he really is and where he really came from.
Also, where are the charges against the inciters of the violence? There were at least two other players in that stoush. What about the bloke dressed as a woman who poured red stuff over the speaker’s head?
I’ll believe we have equal justice in this country when the three of them are charged and jailed. In a male only prison.

    • They grant name suppression to basically everyone by default. It’s a great way to ensure your useless idiot footsoldiers can carry on doing what they do without fear of public backlash.

They also slap them on the wrist and say, “now don’t do it again, okay?” while waving their finger and secretly winking. That’s essentially where this trial will go.

It was a government-approved protest so guaranteed NOTHING of consequence will happen to this whackjob. It’s not like he committed sacrilege by protesting vaccine mandates or camping in a tent outside parliament…

  2. Not only does he need reform in terms of a prison sentence but also drug rehabilitation. To excerpt that type of force on someone without any defense you would need to be high. Methamphetamine. Such a vile little thug.

    • Yeah now charge that twisted man in the bikini dumping fluid from a bottle over the woman with the adult human female t shirt.

Why do men get so angry bout women wanting safe spaces? Yeah we know – cos they are PERVERTS. 😡
