A man is in critical condition following a serious assault in Auckland’s CBD early this morning.
Police found the man with significant injuries lying in the middle of Queen Street.
He was quickly transported to the hospital, while two suspects were arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
Queen Street was temporarily closed for investigation but has since reopened.
Police are appealing for public assistance in the case and are asking anyone with information to contact the police, quoting file number 241017/4378.
