Man shot dead by feds in Minneapolis – governor (Video)

Democrat Tim Walz has described the incident as “sickening,” coming mere weeks after the fatal shooting of Renee Good by ICE agents.

A man has been fatally shot by federal agents in the US city of Minneapolis, according to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. Earlier this month, a 37-year-old woman, Renee Good, was also killed there by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer.

The latest fatal incident reportedly occurred near the intersection of 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue on Saturday morning.

In a post on X later that day, Governor Walz wrote that he “just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning.”

“Minnesota has had it. This is sickening,” the Democrat added. Walz demanded that US President Donald Trump “pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.” He was referring to the ongoing deployment of federal ICE agents in Minneapolis, where they have sought to detain illegal migrants.

While the circumstances are not yet clear, a short video has been circulating on social media, which purportedly depicts the shooting. It shows several people, presumably federal agents, pinning someone down on the sidewalk, while another one strikes the person with an object. Then what appears to be a gunshot is heard, with several more to follow.

Fox News has reported that the victim was armed with a gun and two magazines.

“At 9:05 AM CT, as DHS law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault, an individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a statement.

“Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots. Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene,” DHS said. “The suspect also had 2 magazines and no ID—this looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement.”

DHS said that following the incident, approximately 200 agitators arrived at the scene and began to “obstruct and assault law enforcement,” leading to the implementation of crowd control measures.

In a separate X post, Governor Walz said that he had “told the White House the state must lead the investigation” into Saturday’s shooting.

“Federal agents must not obstruct our ability… [to] keep people safe” at the scene, he added.

According to media reports, some altercations occurred between federal agents and a crowd that gathered at the scene shortly following the tragedy.

  1. A lifetime ago when I was young, I always thought of the US as a rich and safe place to be. Influenced by movies, sitcoms and not the limited news from that region.

When time allowed, off i went to LA to Disneyland, universal studios, Knottsberry farm and many other places. Even drove the 101 to San Francisco. Took a trip to just inside Mexico and San Diego zoo. The people were nice to chat to. Things were less expensive there. The people seems happy relaxed and pleasant. I thought the intelligence was a bit below average.

I realise now that i was only visiting the tourist area.

The results we see on our unfiltered social media is a corporation trying to maintain power by thuggery and murder. It is a last resort. do as I say or i will kill you.

I know throughout our lives many of us slip back on our standards. I can blame myself for that too.Why do we do this? Survival I supose.

My hope is the US people with one day ease up and let the riches of the nation filter down to all who live there.

Only then will the owners of everything will truly appreciate support and respect from their constituents.

New Zealand has it own problems to. Our politicians are chosen by a line up they picked. Politicians who seem to have more allegiance to unelected organisations than the public. Then they call it democracy.

    • He was legally carrying a holstered pistol which was taken off him and misfired by the agent who took the gun. They then fired multiple shots into his back while he was on his knees. Yeah real hero tough guys.

  2. ICE stepped over the line in the Renee Good shooting, but in this case if the guy was armed and reaching for his gun the shooting was justified

    • Lawless savage country to me. To start with its president.
To shoot at somebody pinned on the ground is plain murder. And those who rejoice at this murder should be ashamed

    • He had a legal license to carry the gun, his constitutional right, or are MAGA cultists anti-gun now. Also he was clearly disarmed moments before they pumped his back full of bullets.

  3. The multiple videos of the shooting of this man are the very definition of state tyranny. It’s not about left or right wing but MAGA cultists are no different from Antifa keft wing terrorists – they both are suckers and idiots for the system that enslaves us all as long as it’s the other side being shot.

  4. It’s coming out that Nurse Pretti was…(wait for it…) J3wi$h!
I wonder how AIPAC, the ADL, B’Nai B’rith and the whole host of Zionists will react to this recent summary execution / murder on the street this time around?
After all, they’re used to sacrificing their own, as noted in Koncentration Kamps and the Soviet (J3wi$h Bolshevik) GULAGS.
