Manage My Health says it will begin contacting affected users within the next 48 hours after confirming a cybersecurity breach involving unauthorised access to its platform.

The patient portal, used by about 1.8 million New Zealanders, estimates that between six and seven percent of users may have had data impacted.

According to state media, independent international forensic specialists have been brought in to confirm the fix and assess the scale of the breach.

The Privacy Commissioner and police have been notified, while Health New Zealand confirmed it is working closely with the company to understand any wider implications.

  1. Managing my health is my responsibility. The corporate state (parasite) is only interested in extracting life force from its citizen slaves.
