Highlanders and Māori All Blacks player Connor Garden-Bachop has passed away at the age of 25.
The rugby community, including New Zealand Rugby, the New Zealand Māori Rugby Board, Highlanders, Wellington Rugby, and the New Zealand Rugby Players Association, confirmed his death following ‘a medical event.’
No further information on the cause of the medical event is available at this stage.
Connor, the son of former All Black Stephen Bachop and Black Fern Sue Garden-Bachop, was known for his dynamic play and infectious energy on and off the field. He was also a loving father to his twin girls.
The death is reported to have occurred in Fendalton, Christchurch and is not being treated as suspicious. It will be referred to the Coroner.
Garden-Bachop made his provincial debut for Wellington in 2018 and his Super Rugby debut in 2021.
RIP
My heart and condolences go to the family.
However, he is not an exception.
When will people ask the obvious: why do so many people in their prime, no, actually even as TOP ATHLETES die suddenly? When will people connect the obvious: the mRNA bio-weapon gene therapy, which btw is now openly discussed overseas, even in highest jurisdictions.
WAKE UP SHEEPLE!!!
Just another died suddenly in the sporting world. Nothing to see here.

Go visit a doctor nowadays, and before you can open your mouth he/she says ‘ I’m baffled, how do you do’
Huge tragedy for him and his family xx
Well done Ardern, you’ve killed another one.
Let’s make a movie
Pandemic of coincidentitis?
Try a daily dose of logic.
Would be interesting to see what the coroner has to say. If he’s honest.
RIP
