Mass shooting in Maine – dozens injured or killed

Dozens of people are feared injured and killed as the suspect remains at large.

Authorities have identified a “person of interest” in a mass casualty shooting that took place across several locations in Lewiston, Maine, as a military-trained firearms instructor with reported mental health troubles.

Mass casualty active shooter event

The horrifying scenes unfolded at around 7pm local time in Lewiston, a city of about 36,000 people in Maine, at Sparetime Recreation, a bowling alley on Mollison Way, and Schemengees Bar and Grille restaurant on Lincoln Street. Authorities have yet to confirm any other possible shooting locations reported by local media.

Dozens of victims

Authorities confirmed “multiple casualties,” at a press conference late Wednesday night, but refused to release the exact number as the situation remains “fluid.” According to various media reports citing law enforcement sources, up to 22 people are believed to have been killed and over 50 others injured in the onslaught.

Suspect at large

The suspect fled the scene and remains at large, leading authorities in a wild manhunt on Wednesday night. Police released several photos of a white male armed with a long rifle, wearing black trousers and a brown top.

Police identified the “person of interest” as Robert Card, who had been trained as a firearms instructor at a US Army Reserve training facility, and should be considered “armed and dangerous.” According to a police intelligence bulletin, the man had recently been committed to a mental health facility, reported hearing voices and had threatened to carry out a shooting at a military base.

Cities on lockdown

The city of Lewiston was placed on lockdown amid the ongoing manhunt, with businesses urged to close and residents advised to remain at home with their doors locked. Local schools will remain closed on Thursday. After a “vehicle of interest” was located in Lisbon, a town of 9,000 about 8 miles southeast of Lewiston, residents there were also advised to shelter in place.

  1. The legacy media are beside themselves with joy.

Finally a shooter whose name and life story they’re allowed to plaster everywhere 24/7, instead of the usual routine of name suppression and lecturing us all on our racism.

  2. A deflective psy-op to divert attention away from Israel’s war crimes?…
Could Mr. Card be a victim of Mockingbird, a Targeted Individual, or a programmed ásset’ designed to further disarm the population?
In Maine, the towns are scattered and small, the cities only of small to medium size. It is mostly wooded and has thousands of remote cabins where Mr. Card can hide-out.
He won’t be caught for many weeks, and he will probably launch more attacks. This is why the Citizens of Maine need to arm-up and carry at all times!
Perhaps Mr. Card is a transplant to the area and State? Maine is a deeply Masonic State, and if you are not in the Lodge, the only job you’ll get is unskilled or semi-skilled, while the other good jobs go to the Freemasons and their families.
The ‘Maineiacs’ are also a clannish lot- many outsiders who moved there for retirement leave after a couple of years due to the rudeness and being excluded from everyday life there, or denied services or overcharged in retail, or discovering ‘mates rates’ for items purchased only apply for the Masonic native inhabitants.
Once a person marries into a family of ‘Maineiacs’, they are stuck there and are exploited. IF they balk about it, then total disenfranchisement and boycotting is aimed at the person who objects to the incest, drug dealing, and the ‘Masonic Pillars of Maine Society’ who are fabulously corrupt.
But, that’s also a LOT of …New England in general!!!
