Mother found guilty in medical child abuse case

Nelson medical neglect case

A mother accused of abusing her child during prolonged medical treatment has been found guilty on all seven charges following a seven-week High Court trial in Nelson, with an 11-member jury reaching a unanimous verdict after nearly six hours of deliberation.

The case, stemming from a five-year investigation, centred on allegations that the woman deliberately caused and prolonged her child’s illness between 2019 and 2020, including contaminating feeding lines to induce serious infections and fabricating or exaggerating symptoms to justify ongoing treatment.

Medical evidence indicated the child’s condition rapidly improved once removed from her care, supporting the Crown’s claim of medical child abuse, while the defence argued the case relied on hindsight and assumption rather than direct proof.

Despite these arguments, the jury convicted the woman on all counts, with sentencing scheduled for July 8.

  1. A sadist who does not care if the victim lives or dies. Sterilise her and send her to prison. Make sure she never has access to children again. (And that is me being kind.) I am so sick of these people.

  2. This is what they accuse good parents of who have autistic children…
The paedophiles in the PTB structures of MoH, MoE, MSD, etc. always deny the symptoms of autism and blame the parents for ‘bad parenting’..! Then, they take the autistic child away froom the parents (which causes melt-downs…) and then try and ‘fix’ the child with drugs, ECT, isolation, and physical abuse.
Autism is NOT a behaviour that one can ‘fix’ – it is a NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION that is permanent.
The ignorance of the so-called ‘experts’ here in NZ is rife with Dunning-Kruger self-aggransidement amongst those involved in the above ministries. These people and other parents THINK THEY KNOW how to handle and care for such children, but they themselves are pig-ignorant, pushy and accusational!
After all, those who have disabilities are slated to be disenfranchised, marginalised, and severely unemployed / underemployed by the current society in the British Empire which adheres to Darwin’s ‘survival of the fittest’, and this can be seen in the preferential treatment of ‘fit and proper person’ profiling of rugby, cricket and olympic players who always get preferential treatment from society with advertisements, million dollar salaries, etc. only to recognise that they are just cattle that the PTB / ‘High Society’ place bets on when a game is played???
BTW- when was the last time Autism New Zealandpetitioned an MP to change the laws to help accommodatethe autistic population in New Zealand, eh Dane?
