Police are now in a position to release the name of the child who died after falling into Marian Creek in Fiordland on Thursday 25 January.
She was 10-year-old Tegan Ariel Chen, of New South Wales, Australia.
Our thoughts are with her family at this incredibly difficult time.
The investigation into Tegan’s death is ongoing.
