Police can now name the man who was located deceased in the Lake Road area near Rotorua Hospital on Sunday 7 May.
He was Joseph Peter Westend, aged 21, a university student from Wellington.
Joseph’s death is still being treated as unexplained and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

Joseph’s family has requested privacy at this time and has asked that media not attempt to make contact with them.
