New U.K. Home Secretary faces crisis on first day as over 500 illegal migrants cross Channel

Shabana Mahmood news
Shabana Mahmood (R).

On her first full day as UK Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood confronts a daunting challenge as Border Force declares a ‘Red’ day, with over 500 illegal migrants crossing the English Channel in small boats, ending an 11-day lull due to calmer winds.

GB News observed vessels like Defender and Volunteer ferrying 138 and 85 migrants respectively to Dover, pushing this year’s illegal crossings past 29,500—higher than last year’s 22,028.

Despite a recent UK-France deal to return some migrants, over 4,000 have arrived since, with only 100 flagged for return. The Home Office vows to dismantle smuggling networks through global cooperation and stricter laws, as Mahmood faces a crisis that saw 52,000 crossings under her predecessor in just 14 months.

    • If only one boat would be treated like Somali pirate boats, that invasion would be stopped dead, pun intended.
It would save a bunch of people’s lives, untold misery and exploding crime.
But according to feminised pseudo-moral BS politics, ingrained by commie gangs like the UN, you can’t do that.

  1. You couldn’t write a fictional novel as bad as the people of the UK find themselves in. Illegal immigrants housed in 5 star hotels, given smart phone, free food and allowances, roaming the streets with long blades, raping teenage girls, smashing shops, ripping the nation apart. Overwhelming the locals, imprisoning men and women for speaking out.

Non citizens standing for local government and becoming mayors. Hurty words legislation locking up genuine concerned people while ignoring the rape of children. .

The UK Government has lost all credibility and legitimacy to govern. The final backstop is the Sovereign King who appears to be nothing more than ceremonial, visiting old peoples homes, heading up charities and youth clubs. Pull your finger out Charles, dissolve government and call for new elections or become irrelevant.

Turning to our own government. The citizens are in no doubt they live the illusion of democracy. It is not the will of the people to be injected with a known poison. It is not the will of the people to be tracked with an Id and it is not the will of the people to have thier car travel to be recored and tracked either. And don’t get me started on how disillusioned the whole nation is with the economy. Not since the 1930’s has NZ seen such poor governance over the past few years.

Democracy isn’t doing what overseas digital money lenders want. It is doing what the citizens employ you to do. Long past time the citizens get to approve legislation by poll and referendum.

There is a new election next year. Campaigning will begin in February and if this government wants to stay in power, start deregulating and legislating for economic recovery.

    • Legal immigrants were housed in 5 star hotels in 1980 when I was in UK because all the 1,2,3, and 4 star were full of LEGAL immigrants waiting to be housed, and that was acknowledged by the media.
My mother’s neighbour waited 3 DECADES for a council house.

Now the problem is ILLEGALS and police are being “overwhelmed” by protesters.
Police are ordered to arrest and jail old ladies sitting with placards, while media reported just last month that REAL crims are being released through lack of jail space.

Revoltion for the police will increase as they have to police stupid laws and neglect the real crime!

  3. Well, western “leaders” are bankrupting their countries on purpose to deliver them to blackrock and j***sh bankers.
Same plays through out europe which is no ” coïncidence ”
We are all going to be serfs if we don t revolt

    • No, no, no, Starmer frequently traveled to East Germany as a student, as did most or all of the EU leaders. MI5 had/has a file on him; he is a closet homosexual, as are most of the EU leaders or they have other kinks that they don’t want the public to know.
Once the USSR had successfully compromised the future elites of the West they switched sides, the USSR collapsed, and the new USSR grew like a cancer in the West.

  4. The sabotage on Nord Stream was probably carried out by Great Britain

Don’t forget Liz Truss tweet ‘It’s done’
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxzBqghRs5k
Then Liz Truss had the gall to go on Television and tell the Government where they are going wrong in managing the economy
    Hypocrisy hath no bounds
UK is still buying Russian oil and gas through proxy India
