New Zealand has imposed travel bans on three Israeli settlers accused of involvement in violence and the expansion of illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank.

Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters announced the sanctions, saying the measures target Itamar Yehuda Levi, Harel David Libi and Eliav Libi for actions that have contributed to instability in the region. Peters said the individuals had “actively worked to expand illegal settlements in the West Bank, including through violence” and that their actions threatened the security of both Israelis and Palestinians.

Peters stressed the bans were directed at the three individuals rather than the Israeli people or government, stating that “their use of violence and displacement is destabilising the West Bank” and that such behaviour was unacceptable. He reiterated New Zealand’s longstanding position that Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories breach international law and undermine efforts to achieve a negotiated two-state solution.

The move aligns New Zealand with international partners including Australia and the European Union, which have also taken action against extremist settlers. Peters said New Zealand continued to support a two-state solution as the only viable path to lasting peace, security and prosperity for both Israelis and Palestinians.

New Zealand has previously used targeted travel bans against individuals, politicians and military leaders accused of promoting violence or undermining democratic institutions in countries including Israel, Russia, Belarus and Myanmar.

  1. IMO just another half-a*sed ‘too-little-too-late’ electioneering show, exactly in line with other vote-catching lies.
Since October 7 2023, 981 Israeli nationals have arrived in New Zealand. This figure includes all visa types (temporary and residence) approved by Immigration New Zealand, -here’s the kicker- as reported in April 2025…stats OVER A YEAR OLD!
Additionally, during the same period, 8,634 Israeli citizens have been granted New Zealand Electronic Travel Authorities (NZeTA) for temporary visits. How manj have occupied NZ since then?

  2. Let’s see which political parties will stop this after the upcoming (s)election 2026 in New Zealand…!
Seeing the problems that they have created here & elsewhere (Chch massacre, fake NZ passports, etc.) why would we want them here, or any of their Shabbos-Goy Zionist supporters?
If I were PM, I would have closed the Israeli Embassy & Consulate in October 2022, and in recent days, revoked the Zionist-led FBI being here now on a permanent basis, along with the abolition of the 5-Eyes spying network!

  3. Greasy shifty peters is a two-faced disingenuous toad with a looong history of broken “promises” which means blatant lying to the public/voters. His slippery modus operandi is to preach everything and anything that is popular and appeals strongly to voters, but he’s ALWAYS shown to be full to brim with total BULLSH*T and has no fkn intention of breaking his behind-the-scenes waspnest back-slapping entrenchment with his slimy establishment labour/national globalist cronies and cohorts. Which of course also includes the dodgy phony fake-arsed seymour

  4. Only 3?? Wow, that’s sending the occupying settlers a stern warning. I’m sure they will cease “occupying” immediately.

  5. How about booting every Israeli out of NZ. It seemed over the summer there were alot of people hiking around Whangarei Heads/Ocean beach/Mt Manaia with US/Israeli accents, no flags on their bags, very similar equipment/clothes.

Were we hosting IDF soldier holidays last summer Winnie?

  6. Token gestures don’t detract from this governments “too close” relationship with the USA, who aid and abet Israel, in its crimes, on a daily basis.
