Papers were recently filed in the High Court.
New Zealand Doctors Speaking Out with Science (NZDSOS) has confirmed that papers have been filed in the High Court seeking a judicial review of the New Zealand Medical Council’s (NZMC) use of a ‘Guidance Statement‘ issued in April 2021.
The statement is titled ‘COVID-19 and your Professional Responsibility’, and was jointly released with the Dental Council to members of the two organisations.
The statement ‘reminded practitioners’ that they had to provide ‘evidence-based information about the COVID-19 vaccination’, including, ‘evidence-based information about vaccination and its benefits to assist informed decision-making’.
The document went on to say, ‘As regulators we respect the individual’s right to have their own opinions, but it is our view that there is no place for anti-vaccination messages in health practice, nor any promotion of anti-vaccination claims on social media and advertising by health practitioners.’
The document did not specifically mention discussion of any risks associated with the COVID-19 ‘vaccine’ – a key part of the duty to obtain a patient’s informed consent.
Dr. Alison Goodwin told DTNZ the problem with ‘evidence-based’ information is that ‘you can find ‘science’ to back up anything you want, particularly if you are prepared to pay for the science to be done.’
‘‘Evidence-based’ advice and ‘evidence-based’ information are terms that appear to have lost their meaning. Supposedly they mean that there is scientific evidence – published journal articles of randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials – to back up the advice or information that is being stated.
‘So, when considering scientific evidence and journal articles, one has to ask about, or consider, conflicts of interest, who is funding this and why? Also, is there censorship at the publication level?
‘Some perfectly valid scientific studies don’t get published because their findings are unfavourable to someone else who has more clout and influence. Some studies are done poorly with the particular intention of discrediting a medicine. There are all sorts of tricks that can be used to manipulate the evidence.’
Speaking of the NZMC ‘Guidance Statement’, Dr. Goodwin said it was ‘unnecessary.’
‘It [the Guidance Statement] was unnecessary and it was part of a worldwide campaign to censor and silence doctors and stop them providing true informed consent to their patients. There was already a perfectly good Statement on Informed Consent that covered what doctors needed to do. The new Guidance Statement required that doctors ignore the previous and long-standing principles of Informed Consent.
‘The Guidance Statement may not appear unduly threatening to a non-medical reader but every doctor would have been acutely aware of the veiled threats in the phrase ‘there is no place for anti-vaccination messages’.
‘During Covid times, the MCNZ and Ministry of Health failed to engage in any discussion and have not provided the supposed evidence to back up their claims regarding various aspects of the covid response.’
Last week Dr. Goodwin was successful in a case she brought against the NZMC, which had suspended her from practice in January 2022. In that case the District Court reversed the NZMC’s decision.
Lawyer’s acting for NZDSOS said they were ‘confident that the MCNZ had acted unlawfully,’ in issuing the Guidance Statement.
A statement online by the organisation said, ‘Fundamental to the protection of the people of New Zealand is the question of whether the MCNZ has lost any moral authority it had, and whether it is now just another arm of the government – one that has lost the trust of it’s people and is pushing draconian laws through in a desperate flurry of authoritarianism before being unceremoniously thrown out as the worst government this country has seen.’
‘In choosing to toe the government line regarding the covid response, instead of protecting New Zealanders, the MCNZ has been found to be overreaching its authority in suspending three NZDSOS doctors. Doctors Alison Goodwin, Peter Canaday and Matt Shelton all had their suspensions reversed. This is even more significant given the apparent judicial leniency towards authorities in the “emergency of the pandemic”.
‘They will now be required to justify their actions using the “Guidance Statement” to investigate and prosecute doctors.’
Court papers have been served on NZMC and a hearing date for the case is yet to be set down.

I salute what they are doing. I am mindful, however, that what has happened over the past few years should never have happened in the first place. People should never be coerced into taking medical treatment. The people in charge should just “know” that this should never have been done if they had any sense of morality, compassion and empathy.
The only enduring solution to this is that we have a society that respects individual sovereignty. If this does not happen, then we will have the “next thing” (like 15-minute cities with AI cameras and vaccine passes to leave like “1984”), and then the “next thing” after that, and so on: It will be continuous.
The MCNZ statement for Covid appears to be completely contradictory to the HDNZ Patient Code of Rights and does not align to many of the Medical Council guidelines and standards.
I would like to see all stood down Medical staff enabled back ito their roles and an appropriate agency set up for the vaccine injured (as opposed to reliance on an ACC’s appeal process for rejected claims).
Only then will our country’s Medical Profession be in a position to determine with honesty those who were genuinely adversely impacted and create appropriate treatment pathways for the injured individuals.
While our Medical fraternity use the ‘safe’ narrative and Medsafe accept medications provisionally, while there remains a somewhat deliberate failing to create a causal link for all vaccines and injuries (even with the benefit of International data analysis and thousands of Case studies available) our entire Immunisation programme remains at risk.
The work of the team at NZDSOS will be rewarded…things must change with urgency.

Holding health authorities to account is happening in the US and Australia as well. Christine Anderson and others are vocal in the EU. Andrew Bridgen is fighting in the UK, but still a lame duck issue there. Not hearing much in Canada either.
I would recommend watching Dr John Campbell’s presentation: FDA and Ivermectin, on Rumble or YouTube. There’s no claim ivermectin is a treatment for covid. The video alleges the FDA discouraged/blocked it’s use to allow for EUA of the vaccine. As vaccine uptake has dwindled to nil, NOW they’re saying they never blocked it and Drs could have prescribed it if they chose.
