Police can now advise a woman who was struck by a car on State Highway 2 at Horokiwi in Wellington yesterday evening has died.
The crash was reported to Police at 6.25pm.
Indications are that the woman had exited her vehicle after a minor crash, and was then struck by another vehicle.
“Immediate medical assistance was provided, however sadly, she was unable to be revived.
“Police wish to thank the public for their patience while the Serious Crash Unit and other specialists attended the incident.”
