One NZ drops actor after she shared Winston Peters’ address online

ONE NZ news

One NZ has dropped actor and activist Acacia O’Connor from its advertising campaign after she publicly shared Foreign Minister Winston Peters’ home address ahead of a protest outside his Auckland residence.

The company confirmed it had removed her from its “Let’s Get Connected” campaign, saying the behaviour did not align with its values and that it “doesn’t back any behaviour that puts people’s safety at risk.”

O’Connor, who is also a spokesperson for the Global Movement to Gaza, livestreamed a pro-Palestine protest from outside Peters’ home and mentioned his street name online.

She told state-funded media she regretted the “oversight,” saying she never intended for violence to occur and condemned the vandalism that followed, in which a window at Peters’ house was smashed.

The activist apologised directly to Peters, saying, “I’m really sorry that your house was attacked. I agree that all New Zealanders should live in safe homes.” However, she also accused the Foreign Minister of using the controversy as “a diversion tactic” to deflect attention from the conflict in Gaza.

One NZ’s decision to drop O’Connor came after National’s Nicola Willis suggested the company “take another look” at her involvement, calling her actions “completely inappropriate.” Peters said he believed One NZ had done the right thing by severing ties.

  1. So the creepy girl from the one nz commercials thought it was okay to give out some one personal home address…must be a looney leftist.

  2. Is she OK to give the addresses of the families of the Isrealis who were beheaded or killed by Hamas also? Just curious 🧐…hmmm….

  3. Anyone can find any person’s address…electoral roll, Spokeo-type websites, the White Pages…
There’s a good possibility that Acacia may not work in media again due to being blacklisted, and is probably now on some terrorist watch list.
This is why the price for standing up tp tyranny is high, and even higher when demanding liberty, sovereignty and one’s own civil, human and patient rights.
Maybe Chloe will come to the rescue, but who knows…

Maybe Chloe will come to the rescue, but who knows…politicians are notoriously self-serving and narcissistic psychopaths whose dangerous personality traits are backed by nuclear weapons in many instances…

  5. Under this government and the last one NZ will, as far as I can see, only ever be a colony of the USA. Heck, they even have foreign law enforcement in the country……time to vote for a government that puts New Zealanders first, respecting our sovereignty and right to have our own voice, on the world stage.
