This week NoMoreGlyphosate NZ published an Open Letter to the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), and to the Ministers of Health, Food Safety, and the Environment who share responsibility for protecting New Zealanders, calling for mandatory health warning labels on glyphosate-based weedkillers sold in New Zealand.
Unlike tobacco, alcohol, energy drinks — and even toothpaste — glyphosate weedkillers such as Roundup carry no health warnings at all, despite being classified internationally as a probable human carcinogen.
Our open letter has been sent directly to:
- The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA)
- The Minister for the Environment (Penny Simmonds)
- The Minister of Health (Simeon Brown)
- The Minister for Food Safety (Andrew Hoggard)
- The Director-General of Health (Audrey Sonerson)
We believe New Zealanders deserve the same right-to-know protections already applied to other hazardous products. Anything less is a failure of duty of care.

– In 2020, Bayer agreed to pay $9.6 billion to settle most claims, while continuing to assert that Roundup is safe when used correctly.

Vinny Eastwood (The Vinny Eastwood Show- which had more followers globally than the MSM here in NZ…) once said that ‘Everything in your refrigerator is a bio-weapon!’. This is especially true if the contents in your produce drawer were sprayed / treated in the growth stage with Round-Up of any other Glyphosate chemical.
