
The shoreline and water-based search will continue today at Opoutere Beach, and a fixed-wing aircraft will also search the area from the air.
‘Police ask that anyone who finds items of interest on the coastline to please hand them in to Police at Whangamata Surf Club,’ said Acting Senior Sergeant Will Hamilton, Whangamata Police.
