  1. This was inevitable. Coster was called a softie and Wellington will go through the rough and tumble so he can adjust his profile. Either way, Peters and Seymour have done what the absentee government should have and what do you know, nobody’s tried to lynch them in the town square. Bolger made a press statement and Luxon’s run off a speech – why didn’t he or someone else make a no confidence call?

  2. This is where the police have lost the trust of the public, they will never have any credibility in the public eye again. When this is over those that supported the governments belief that the people have no rights will eventually cost police lives. That’s what the long term effects of their current actions will do. The statement I was only following orders won’t wash.
