Police conclude investigation into Te Awamutu road death

The decision is said to have brought closure to the family

The investigation into the death of Joseph (Joe) Jenkins on a road outside of Te Awamutu has finished.

Police have decided not to press charges, saying the fatality was the result of a tragic accident.

Mr. Jenkins’ family have been notified of the decision.

Mr. Jenkins was killed on Owairaka Valley Road, Parawea, near Te Awamutu in August.
