Police are investigating a late-night shooting in Flaxmere that left two men injured.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at a Berwick Crescent property at 11:30 p.m. last night. Shortly after, authorities were alerted that two men had arrived at Hawke’s Bay Hospital with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims is reported to have sustained serious injuries, while the other is in moderate condition.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police urge anyone with relevant information to contact them via the 105 non-emergency line, using reference number 241005/2014, or provide details anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 0800 555 111.
