Police are making enquiries after a fire early Friday morning caused damage to a Dunedin property.

Emergency services were called to High Street about 2.30am, where a shed was on fire.

The fire caused damage to the shed and the exterior of a building, and is being treated as suspicious.

Police have also received a number of reports of damage to vehicles in the area recently, and are working to establish if there is any link between these incidents.

“We are asking for anyone with information that might assist our enquiries to come forward.

“If you can help, please use our 105 service and quote file number 261002/7991.”

Anyone who sees any suspicious activity in the area should call Police immediately on 111.
