Police in Northland are investigating the tragic death of a three-year-old child who was fatally injured in a driveway incident in Te Kamo on Sunday afternoon.
Despite efforts, the child could not be revived.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Shane Pilmer confirmed that police were called to the scene at 1:37 p.m. and are now speaking with the family as part of their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.

Yep, happened to someone related to my sister-in-law.
Dad was backing out thinking mom had the child.
Mom thought child was going with Dad.
Child was run-over and died.
They both blamed each other and were divorced soon after.
