Police are responding to a sudden death incident in Rototuna.
The death is being treated as unexplained, and cordons are in place as a scene examination takes place.
“Police will maintain a visible presence in the area in the coming days,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Reece Durston.
“A further update will be provided with more information when appropriate.
“Circumstances at this stage suggest that there is no ongoing risk to the public.
“Anyone who believes they have information in relation to this incident should call 105.”
